Ultimate Fudge Makeover
Ever since I was younger it’s been a mission of mine to take yummy comfort foods and turn them into nutritious and delicious treats. Chocolate Fudge has always been one of my favourites. However loaded with tons of white processed sugar, butter and milk this sweet treat definitely needed a makeover! This healthy fudge recipe is so unbelievably good and is loaded with healthy fats, antioxidants and nutrients that your body will thank you for! Have a favorite comfort food you want made over? Ultimate Fudge Recipe
1 cup cashew butter (or nut butter of choice)
1/4 cup cacao powder
1/3 cup coconut oil
1/4 cups unpasturized honey
1 tsp organic vanilla extract
1/2 tsp himalayan salt
In a small sauce pan mix together on low heat coconut oil, cashew butter and honey. When coconut oil is melted and mixture is blended remove from heat and add cacao powder, salt and vanilla. Stir until mixture is smooth. Place parchment paper in glass dish (for easy removal) and pour in the mixture. Store in freezer for an hour before eating. Remove from freezer and cut into squares. Enjoy on it's own or with a hot cup of Dandy Blend:)
